The text symbols and project codes in electrical technology are no longer needed to find them everywhere!

An electrical system or an electrical device usually consists of various basic components, components, components, etc. In order to represent these basic components, components, and components on electrical drawings or other technical documents, in addition to various graphic symbols, Some text symbols and project codes must also be marked to distinguish the different functions, states, and features of these devices and lines.

Text symbols usually consist of basic text symbols, auxiliary text symbols, and numbers. Letter code and function letter code for the type of electrical equipment, devices and components provided.

Basic text symbol

Basic text symbols can be divided into two-letter symbols and two-letter symbols.

(1) One-letter symbol One-letter symbol is an English letter that divides various electrical equipment, devices and components into 23 categories, each of which is represented by a special letter symbol, such as "R" for resistance class, "Q" Indicates the switching devices of the power circuit, etc., as shown in Table 1-6-. Among them, "I" and "O" are easily confused with the Arabic numerals "1" and "0", and are not allowed to be used, and the letter "J" is not used.

(2) Two-letter symbol Two-letter symbol is composed of one-letter symbol indicating one kind in Table 1-7 and another letter, and the combination form is: single-letter symbol first and another letter after. The two-letter symbol can convey the names of electrical devices, devices, and components in greater detail and more specifically. The other letter in the two-letter symbol usually uses the first letter of the English noun of the device, device, and component, or a common abbreviation, or a conventional custom letter. For example, "G" is the English name of the synchronous generator, and the two-letter symbol of the synchronous generator is "GS". The two-letter symbols commonly used in electrical diagrams are shown in Table 1-7.

2. Auxiliary text symbol

Auxiliary text symbols are used to indicate the function, status, and characteristics of electrical equipment, devices, and components, as well as wiring. For example, "ACC" means acceleration, and "BRK" means braking. Auxiliary text symbols can also be placed after a one-letter symbol representing a category to form a two-letter symbol, such as "SP" for a pressure sensor. If the auxiliary text symbol consists of more than two letters, in order to simplify the text symbol, only the first letter is allowed to be combined, such as "MS" for the synchronous motor. Auxiliary text symbols can also be used separately, such as "OFF" for disconnection and "DC" for DC. Auxiliary text symbols generally cannot exceed three letters. The auxiliary text symbols commonly used in electrical diagrams are shown in Table 1-8.

3. Combination of text symbols

The combination of text symbols is generally: basic symbol + auxiliary symbol + digital serial number.

For example, the first motor has the text symbol M1; the first contactor has the text symbol KM1.

4. Special purpose text symbols

In the electrical diagram, some special-purpose terminals, wires, etc. usually use some special text symbols. For example, the three-phase AC system power supply is represented by "L1, L2, L3", and the three-phase AC system equipment is represented by "U, V, W", respectively.
