This device can be controlled by PWM inputs to help speed design; other features include low heat generation, fast start-up circuitry, lock-up protection and auto-recovery circuitry, adjustable current limiters, and thermal shutdown.

The LB11685AV features a sensorless design that simplifies manufacturing; a soft start facilitates improved stability at start-up; a soft switch helps provide a silent drive; and a lock-on protection feature prevents damage.
Both the LV8804FV and LV8805SV are three-phase BLDC motor sensorless driver ICs. The three-phase driver supports low energy consumption and low vibration operation. The Hallless sensor driver supports reducing the size of the motor system. These two ICs are ideal for applications such as refrigerator fans and server fans that require high reliability and long life.
