Toshiba's system power supply IC for car navigation system medium-sized LCD module starts mass production

Tokyo-Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO:6502), a semiconductor and storage products company, today announced the start of the "TC7735FTG" mass production, "TC7735FTG" is a system power integrated circuit with five different voltage power outputs, which are suitable for use in cars Medium-sized LCD module used in navigation systems.

The IC integrates an automatic buck-boost DC-DC converter that provides a stable power supply to the LCD panel with a wide operating voltage range of 4.5-16V. This feature supports direct connection from the car battery and is suitable for car navigation systems.

The integrated circuit integrates an OTP memory [1] that allows it to store different power control setup data adjusted for each LCD module without the need for external system control.

· Wide operating voltage range: 4.5-16V.

• Optional switching frequency: built-in oscillator (1MHz) or external clock input (400kHz-1.2MHz).

• The automatic buck-boost converter determines the input voltage and selects the operating mode (buck or boost) without the need for external command control.

Built-in OTP for adjustable power control of each LCD.

·Safety function: Input undervoltage detection, input overvoltage detection, thermal shutdown and output overvoltage detection.
