Japanese manufacturer Konic a Minolt a (Konica Minolta) recently announced that it will release the world's first flexible OLED tube, which may be released in the second half of 2010.
This flexible tube is made of OLED panel and is made of special chemical material "Sumitomo". It seems to be less than ideal, only 3000 hours, providing a maximum brightness of 1000 lumens. Other detailed parameters have not been disclosed. As a conceptual work, it may change when it is officially released.
