Dilemma

However, this joy is limited to ZTE, Lenovo and other domestic mobile phone manufacturers, the vast majority of mobile phone companies have been dilemma.

A high-level mobile phone manufacturer in Shenzhen said that MediaTek's Android-based chip solution has become quite mature. In addition, a lot of mobile phone solution companies in Shenzhen and Shanghai have made a stable performance of a thousand-dollar smart phone “without a problem,” and it is not at the product level at all. Not only China Unicom's WCDMA, China Mobile's TD and China Telecom's CDMA terminals also encountered the same problem, and mobile phone customization and call subsidies are limited to a few manufacturers.

"Although the operator's subsidies have stimulated the development of domestic 3G users, it has also hindered the participation of most mobile phone manufacturers in the domestic 3G initiative." Gao Guiming, senior vice president of Guohong Communications, said that currently the channel sales volume of the operator accounts for more than 20% of the total domestic sales, which may rise to 50% in the future. Gao Guiming pointed out that whether the successful entry into the operator's customized product library will not only test the performance of mobile phones, but also consider the cost control capabilities of the manufacturers. The cost-effective advantages of successfully selected mobile phone products are obvious. At present, the scale and cost control capabilities of many mobile phone manufacturers have yet to be improved.
