Toshiba LEADING has launched E-CORELED lamps that have improved lighting brightness and the highest overall efficiency (84lm/W) in the industry. There are 8 models, which will be gradually launched on April 1, 2009.
The brightness of the E-CORELED lamp and the micro fluorescent lamp (FHT42W) 2 lamp device (the horizontal illumination is about 700 lux) is about the same, which can save about 45% of energy and reduce CO2. It has a life expectancy of 40,000 hours and is 3 to 4 times longer than a fluorescent lamp. The operating expenses can be reduced by 203,148 yen during the year, about 59%.
