One motor starts first, and the other motor starts after a delay. It is often required that several motors work together in a certain order to meet the requirements of the process. For example, in a large refrigeration equipment unit, it is often necessary to start the water pump motor before starting the compressor motor, and the time relay can be used to complete the sequence control.
Figure 5-10 is a circuit schematic diagram of the operation sequence of two motors controlled by a time relay. One motor starts first, and the other motor starts after a delay, and then keeps running at the same time.
How it works: Close the power switch Q and press the start button SBTI. At this time, the time relay is energized, and the contactor KMI is simultaneously energized and self-locked, and the motor MI is first turned. After the time relay KT is extended for a certain period of time, the normally open contact KT of the time-delay is closed, the contactor KM2 is electrically connected, the main contact is closed, the motor M2 starts to operate, and the motors M1 and M2 are kept running at the same time.
