This product has already started to provide samples (sample price: 20 yen / piece), and started mass production in September with a monthly production capacity of 10 million. The production base is at ROHM Electronics Philippines Inc. (Philippines).

In general household appliances such as notebook computers, jumper resistance (zero-ohm resistance) has been used for switching circuits and functions on the same package substrate, but the conventional jumper resistance is low resistance. The product also has a resistance value of several tens of mΩ. In recent years, with the versatility of electronic devices, the current value in the circuit is also increasing. The power loss and voltage leakage in the jumper resistance have become more important, so that the resistance value is closer to zero. The demand for jumper resistors continues to rise.

The PMR jumper series developed by ROHM uses a special alloy with excellent electrical conductivity in the resistor body, which greatly reduces the resistance value (1/100 of the conventional product).
